Pelican Landing Lifestyle Fair

Friday, January 16th


Pelican Landing in Bonita Springs is pleased to announce their Annual Lifestyle Fair – featuring the community’s amenities, clubs, & groups in order to give residents the opportunity to learn about the lifestyle offered at Pelican Landing Bonita Springs. This event enables the residents to learn about the many activities and events planned in the local community. Pelican Landing promotes the residents to actively engage in a variety of activities that are close to their own homes – becoming acquainted with new neighbors is always a great way to become involved. If you’re interested in this event please sign up in the lobby so that the Pelican Landing staff will know how many people to expect. Refreshments will be served and hosted by the Community Center Advisory Group.

Pelican Landing Stained Glass Mosaic Class

Thursday, January 15th


Pelican Landing in Bonita Springs is offering a beginning mosaics class, which is a fun and creative event for the whole family. The instructor will guide you through each step so you can complete your project and take home a piece to showcase. You can embellish a glass dish that can be used as a candle holder, soap dish, spoon rest, coaster, ring dish, whatever comes to mind – be creative! You will have a large selection of stained glass in every color to choose from. Stained glass mosaics add a nice sparkle to your home and will make the perfect gift. Deadline to sign up: January 8th.

Pelican Landing Digital Camera Class

Monday, January 19th

Cost: $25

Pelican Landing in Bonita Springs is offering residents a digital camera class for those that need more experience. A seasoned professional photographer Frank Berna will teach the class. The deadline to signup is January 12th.

Off-Campus Paddle

January 15th

Paddle among the manatees at Manatee Park in Fort Myers. Departing from the Community Center at 8:30AM sharp, everyone will be carpooling to Manatee Park. Launching by the Caloosahatchee River, the trip will be roughly 3 hours in the warm waters from the power station where the manatees like to gather. Cost of single kayak is $40.00, tandem is $60.00, payable in advance. Launching for people with their own kayaks is FREE.  Pelican Landing Book Club

The Pelican Landing book club meets on the second Wednesday of the month, November through April @ 1:00 PM at the Community Center. The next meeting in January 14th, and the book to be discussed is The Round House by Louise Erdrich. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Pelican Landing Nature Photography Club

Wednesday, January 7th at 7:00 PM

Pelican Landing in Bonita Springs will be hosting a nature photography club at the community center. Pelican Landing resident Bill Richardson will show his photographs of Ecuador’s Galapagos Islands and the Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu in Peru. Come and enjoy the amazing photographs that all tell a beautiful story!
